Die Origins Game Fair findet vom 17. – 21. Juni in Columbus statt. Nach der Gen Con ist sie die zweitgrößte Publikumsmesse in den USA für Brettspiele.
Auf der Messe werden auch immer die Origins Game Awards verliehen.
Nun wurden die Nominierten in den einzelnen Kategorien bekanntgegeben. Für die Auswahl war eine „jury of 40 hobby games industry professionals“ verantwortlich:
